ABOUT
Andrew Barton heads up the AAA® San Antonio Regional Office focusing on the AAA’s Commercial Division.
In that role, he interacts with the AAA’s clients who file commercial cases and the panelists serving as arbitrators and mediators on those cases in Texas and Oklahoma.
His current responsibilities include delivering case management services for large, complex commercial caseloads and developing the AAA’s commercial suite of ADR Services. He frequently consults with general counsel, senior representatives and human resource professionals on the design and implementation of corporate dispute resolution programs. In addition, he is responsible for the recruitment and development of the Association’s Roster of Arbitrators.
Trained in mediation, Andrew has held several positions within the AAA including case manager, regional manager of the New Orleans office and assistant vice president of AAA Education in Phoenix, AZ. He has built, developed and facilitated conflict resolution training programs for the AAA Roster of Arbitrators, government agencies and business clients of the AAA. He frequently presents on a variety of ADR topics.
Andrew graduated from Austin College, Sherman, TX in 1992.
