Alyssa Weiss brings a wide range of skills to her commercial litigation practice, including the ability to distill complex legal concepts into clear, concise language. For clients based in Florida those and with a national presence, she finds it highly gratifying to help solve their problems, boost their businesses, reduce their stress, and make their lives easier.
With a background in commercial, probate, and guardianship litigation matters, Alyssa’s experience includes drafting pleadings and motions to file in state and federal court, writing response briefs to opposing counsels’ motions, and assisting with document review and drafting discovery. She also helps set up new matters, reviews and analyzes case law, drafts corresponding legal memos, and works with clients to develop strategic litigation goals.
An excellent writer, Alyssa crafts persuasive arguments that are jargon-free and understandable to lawyers and non-lawyers alike. She also keeps an eye out for wording in documents that could cause problems for clients down the road and addresses those potential issues.
