Anat Maytal is an associate at Baker Hostetler LLP in New York, NY, and focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation and employment law in both state and federal courts. She has assisted in representing employers in business competition litigation matters and employment discrimination actions, as well as corporations and commercial lenders in contractual disputes involving former shareholders and borrowers, respectively. Ms. Maytal also represents Irving H. Picard, Securities Investor Protection Act (“SIPA”) Trustee for the liquidation of the Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities LLC and the consolidated estate of Bernard L. Madoff in connection with Madoff’s Ponzi scheme. In addition, Ms. Maytal is the President of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Bar Association, which garnered global media attention in April 2016 for the historic bar admission of its members to the U.S. Supreme Court Bar and securing the use of technology to hear two arguments before the high court. In January 2018, Ms. Maytal made the motion to admit a second class of deaf and hard of hearing attorneys to the high court’s bar.
