    ABOUT

    Armeen focuses her practice on commercial dispute resolution, with a particular emphasis on representing individuals and businesses in complex domestic and international arbitration proceedings. She has experience in litigation and arbitration on a wide range of issues, including indemnification, fraud, breach of contract, and business torts. Armeen is involved in all aspects of commercial dispute resolution, from pre-suit settlement discussions through pleadings, written discovery, fact and expert depositions, motion practice, mediation, trial, and any necessary appeals. She also has experience defending consumer class action disputes and coordinating voluminous e-discovery on behalf of her clients. Her broad litigation experience gives her perspective on achieving creative solutions to her clients’ goals in competitive business environments.

    Armeen is committed to serving her community. She represents clients on a pro bono basis before immigration courts and the Board of Immigration Appeals. She is also a passionate advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion in the legal community, and is a former ABA Business Law Fellow. She is active in the leadership of the South Asian Bar Association’s Women Attorneys’ Network, serves on the U.S. Courts Committee for the State Bar of Michigan, and serves as the managing editor for Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution for the ABA’s Business Law Today.

    Armeen also serves on the firm’s Diversity Liaison Committee and Recruiting Committee. Before joining the firm, Armeen was a litigation associate at an international law firm, practicing in that firm’s Washington, D.C. and Minneapolis offices. She served on the firm’s Diversity Committee, was co-chair of its Associates Committee, and was named the firm’s D.C. Pro Bono Lawyer of the Year in 2017. Prior to that, she served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Hildy Bowbeer of the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota and was a civil division law clerk for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Minnesota.
