ABOUT
Carlos Juarez is an associate in Mayer Brown’s New York office and a member of the Capital Markets Group. He represents issuers, underwriters, and other financial intermediaries in a range of public and private offerings of equity and debt securities and in liability management transactions. He also works with public companies on their SEC reporting obligations, corporate governance matters, and other ongoing public company needs.
He is a regular contributor to Mayer Brown’s Free Writings & Perspectives blog and Across the Board blog, where he writes about developments in the capital markets, securities laws, and related regulatory and market trends.
Carlos earned his JD from the Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law, where he received the Faculty Recognition Award and the Dorothy Day Award for Pro Bono Service. Carlos also holds an MBA from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University, with concentrations in accounting and finance, and a BA from the University of California, Irvine.
