Carol Evans is an Associate Director in the Division of Consumer and Community Affairs at the Federal Reserve Board. Ms. Evans provides strategic direction and legal expertise to the Federal Reserve’s consumer protection activities. She leads several areas, including fair lending, unfair or deceptive acts or practices (UDAP) enforcement, consumer protection policy and outreach, and consumer protection/community reinvestment analysis for mergers and acquisitions. Ms. Evans and her teams are currently studying the implications of fintech trends for consumers. Ms. Evans graduated magna cum laude from both Smith College and Harvard Law School.
