ABOUT
Professor Bishop works in the fields of corporations, contracts, and taxation and is a leading national authority on limited liability companies. He is a co-author of Contracts: Cases and Theory of Contractual Obligation (West 2008) and Limited Liability Companies: Tax & Business Law (Warren, Gorham & Lamont, Updated Semiannually), a leading treatise on business entity law, and over 50 articles. He has taught at several major law schools throughout the United States including Georgetown, George Washington University, Washington & Lee, American University, Catholic University and University of San Diego. He was a tenured professor at William Mitchell College of Law before joining Suffolk Law. Professor Bishop served as a National Reporter for four separate uniform law projects sponsored by the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws and has served as an advisor for several American Law Institute law restatement projects.
