ABOUT
Chase J. Edwards is an assistant professor of business law at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette where he holds the Mr. & Mrs. Thomas Galloway Endowed Professorship in Business Administration and the Forrest K. Dowty Endowed Professor of Management. He also serves as the Associate Director of the Center for Critical Infrastructure and Cybersecurity where he builds on his previous work at the National Security Agency (NSA) and the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO).
Chase earned his law degree and diploma in comparative law at Louisiana State University and an MBA as an NRO Advanced Academic Fellow at the United States Naval Postgraduate School. His research interests include business formation choice, small business strategy, and tax avoidance. He teaches a variety of courses including negotiations and conflict resolution and seminars in white collar crime, law for entrepreneurs, and cybersecurity law and policy.
