Judge Christopher Mark Alston

Chris Alston was sworn into office as a bankruptcy judge for the Western District of Washington on June 30, 2015, and maintains chambers in Seattle, Washington. Prior to taking the bench, he was a Member of Foster Pepper PLLC, where he practiced for 26 years. He chaired the firm’s Creditors’ Rights and Bankruptcy group and focused his practice on all aspects of Chapter 11 reorganization, bankruptcy litigation and commercial litigation. Judge Alston received his J.D. from the University of Michigan in 1989 and received his A.B. from the School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University in 1985.
