ABOUT
Professor Hampson is an award-winning scholar of bankruptcy, insolvency, and the ethics of debt at the University of Florida Levin College of Law. He has written on a wide range of topics, from benefit corporations and small business bankruptcy to imprisonment for debt and is a member of NCBJ’s NextGen and ABI’s Forty Under Forty cohorts. Prior to joining UF Law, Professor Hampson practiced law at Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr LLP in Boston as part of the firm’s bankruptcy and financial restructuring group. Before that, Professor Hampson served as a law clerk for Judge Richard A. Posner on the Seventh Circuit in Chicago and worked at White & Case LLP in Miami.
