ABOUT
Christopher T. Sukhaphadhana is a strategic intellectual property counsel who develops and implements IP process and strategy to suit the needs and objectives of the business. His practice includes client counseling, global IP portfolio development, freedom-to-operate analyses, multi-jurisdictional patent preparation and prosecution, licensing, and litigation management.
Currently, Chris is a senior intellectual property attorney for Siemens Healthineers and served in similar roles with other global medical device and consumer products companies. He was an IP associate with a large boutique law firm and a patent examiner with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Chris earned his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, and his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana.
Chris is a former Fellow for the American Bar Association’s Business Law Section (BLS) and currently co-chairs the BLS’ In-House Counsel Committee.
