Clay B. Roberts is Of Counsel in the Corporate & Finance Group at Bilzin Sumberg in Miami, FL, where he focuses on the representation of clients on corporate restructurings, investment entity structuring, and mergers and acquisitions. He also advises borrowers, issuers, lenders, private equity funds, and private investment funds in the negotiation of complex financings, including capital markets transactions, mezzanine loans, and note issuances. Clay has substantial experience advising clients on bankruptcy reorganizations and litigating insolvency-related disputes. Clay has served as counsel to numerous debtors, creditor committees, investors, bondholders, and purchasers of assets in complex Chapter 11 cases and currently serves as the Co-Chair for the Secured Creditors Subcommittee in the American Bar Association’s Business Law Section.
