Craig Menden is a partner in the Corporate & Financial Services Department, where he concentrates on complex M&A transactions. For over 20 years, Craig has focused his practice on the representation of technology and life sciences companies. His transactional experience includes more than 1,000 transactions and acting as lead negotiator in over 300 completed mergers and acquisitions with values ranging from tens of millions to nearly twenty billion dollars.
Craig’s representation ranges from young startups to mature tech companies. He has extensive experience with a broad range of deal structures, especially VC-backed private acquisitions and public company acquisitions. He also regularly represents parties in acquihires, tax free double mergers, tender offers, so-called “reverse” mergers and other less common structures.
Craig is an alum of the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law and also holds a Bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University. Craig recently stepped down after five years as chair of the ABA M&A Market Trends Committee.
