Danielle “DJ” Healey is an intellectual property litigator with more than 30 years of experience handling complex patent, trade secret, copyright, and antitrust disputes. She has been recognized by Chambers Global, Chambers U.S., Best Lawyers in America, IAM, and Super Lawyers for her leadership in IP litigation. Her practice spans federal and state courts, the ITC, the FTC, and international venues, including European courts and the European Commission.
DJ represents both plaintiffs and defendants, developing strategic enforcement and defense approaches that protect innovation and mitigate risk. She has litigated cases across major jurisdictions nationwide and has extensive experience in high-stakes patent and antitrust matters, including licensing disputes in the semiconductor and software industries and issues involving standard-setting organizations.
In addition to her litigation practice, DJ is a respected thought leader, regularly speaking and writing on trade secrets, patent damages, extraterritoriality, and IP-related antitrust law. She has played a key role in shaping the legal community, including helping establish the Houston IP Inn of Court and contributing to patent rule development in the Southern District of Texas. She also maintains an active pro bono practice supporting a range of civil rights and immigration organizations.
