A partner with Meyer, Unkovic & Scott LLP, Unkovic focuses his practice on complex corporate
transactions and foreign direct investment, including M&A, joint ventures and international
dispute resolution. Traveling to 65 countries over 35 years, he has spent significant time in
China, Japan, and throughout Southeast Asia.
Unkovic has been recognized in every edition of The Best Lawyers in America since 2003. From
April 2015 through May 2018, he served as Chairman of Meritas®, the leading legal referral
network composed of 7,800 lawyers in 94 countries.
A prolific writer, Unkovic has authored nine books and 165+ articles for domestic and
international publications. His most recent book, Asia Ascending, was published by Ankerwyke
Books (ABA) in November, 2018.
