Elyse Ardiel is a partner in Fasken’s Private Equity Group and Capital Markets and Mergers and Acquisition Group within the Toronto office. Elyse is engaged in a diverse corporate/commercial practice which focuses on private mergers and acquisitions, with an emphasis on private equity and cross-border transactions, as well as general corporate matters, corporate reorganizations and commercial law.
Elyse’s broad corporate transactional and commercial law practice includes advising Canadian, American and international clients with their acquisitions, divestitures, investments, and commercial negotiations. Elyse has particular expertise with advising US private equity clients with their investments in Canadian and cross-border businesses.
Elyse is committed to obtaining customized solutions to complicated legal issues, which is valued by Fasken’s clients. Elyse’s clients recognize her excellent legal skills and dedication to her work. Elyse takes a collaborative approach to her work which promotes teamwork and provides great legal service to her clients.
Prior to joining the firm, Elyse practiced corporate law in New York for over three years. Elyse graduated from University of Windsor, Faculty of Law and holds an undergraduate degree, with great distinction, from McGill University.
