Helena Sprenger is the resident partner in Houthoff Buruma’s New York office and advises clients, including many large international corporations, institutional investors and financial institutions, in the context of corporate finance, cross border M&A transactions and international capital markets transactions. She also has a particular expertise in high-value asset financing and (the restructuring of) cross border lease transactions. Helena not only advises under Netherlands law, but also under the laws applicable in the Dutch Caribbean, including Curaçao, Aruba and Suriname. She has extensive experience in coordinating large multinational teams working together in multi-jurisdictional finance transactions. Before joining Houthoff Buruma in 2012 Helena was a partner of a leading global law firm where she headed the Dutch law practice in New York.
