James Hamraie is a Georgia-licensed attorney whose practice spans data privacy, cybersecurity, technology transactions, and intellectual property. Combining legal expertise with technical training in cybersecurity and privacy engineering, James helps companies align regulatory compliance with business strategy, implement privacy-by-design frameworks, and manage risk in emerging technologies. His work includes advising on ad tech practices, children’s privacy, health privacy, and data security.
James holds degrees in political science and law and is completing an M.S. in Cybersecurity as well as a dual-concentration LL.M. in Intellectual Property Law and Data Privacy and Cybersecurity Law. He also holds a privacy engineering certificate, which supports his work on operational privacy design and emerging technology governance. James has been recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in Georgia and is an active writer in the technology-law community, publishing on regulatory developments and supporting organizations focused on responsible innovation.
