James G. (Jay) McMillan is a partner in the Wilmington, Delaware office of Halloran Farkas + Kittila LLP. He concentrates his practice in complex corporate and commercial matters, with a particular focus on litigation in the Delaware Court of Chancery, related to mergers and acquisitions, director and officer liability, stockholder suits and business valuation matters, involving Delaware corporations, partnerships, and limited liability companies. He has more than 20 years of experience in state and federal courts in Delaware and other jurisdictions. His clients include firms in the financial services, technology, energy, commercial real estate, online retail and insurance industries, based throughout the United States, as well as in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia. He frequently works with corporate directors, management, and expert consultants on highly sophisticated financial, economic, and technical issues. He is a graduate of Haverford College, holds a Master of Arts degree from the University of Chicago, and a J.D. degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
