    ABOUT

    Jessica Mendelson is an associate in the Employment Law Department of Paul Hastings. Her practice focuses on trade secrets litigation and employee mobility issues. Prior to joining Paul Hastings, Ms.Mendelson practiced trade secret, trademark, and copyright litigation in the intellectual property department of a boutique firm in Los Angeles. Ms. Mendelson received her law degree from UC Hastings College of the Law in 2011. During law school, she served as an extern to the Honorable Judge Marilyn H. Patel of the Northern District of California. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History, with honors, from Brown University in 2007. Ms. Mendelson is admitted to practice law in California.

    EXPERIENCE

    Successfully obtained favorable settlement for M7 Systems, Inc. against a competitor for trade secret misappropriation and copyright infringement.
    Successfully obtained favorable settlement on the eve of trial for defendants Model Model, Inc. and Shake-N-Go Fashion, Inc. in a trademark infringement case.
    Successfully obtained partial summary judgment on behalf of Defendant VIZIO, Inc. against Razor USA, LLC in a hotly contested trademark infringement case.
    Successfully obtained preliminary injunction against former employees of U.S. Legal to prevent continued misappropriation of U.S. Legal’s trade secrets.
    Successfully obtained temporary restraining order and preliminary injunction for Vista Equity Partners against a competitor for trade secret misappropriation and unfair competition, ultimately leading to a favorable settlement.
