Jim Wiley is the Legal and Research Director at EqualAI, a non-profit created to reduce harms in artificial intelligence (AI) and promote responsible AI governance. Prior to this role, Wiley was an Assistant Attorney General and Charles F.C. Ruff fellow for the D.C. Office of the Attorney General. Wiley received a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and a B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles. Wiley is licensed to practice law in Washington D.C. and California.
