John is Managing Partner of Anthem Legal Services LLC. Before this he was Managing Director of a London-based private investment firm with a focus on direct principal investment opportunities in mid- and early-state venture; and the former General Counsel and Secretary of Golden Falcon Acquisition Corp., a NYSE-listed special purpose acquisition vehicle.
John advised on M&A and private equity transactions in New York, London and Sub-Saharan Africa as a partner at Epena Law, and before that as a partner at Hogan Lovells, where he headed the US corporate securities practice and was co-head of equity capital markets in Europe, for more than 15 years. Before joining Hogan Lovells, John practiced at Freshfields and Clifford Chance.
