John W. Mazzeo is a nationally recognized legal and compliance leader specializing in identity verification, fraud prevention, and workforce onboarding risk management. As Senior Director and Associate General Counsel at Vertical Screen, Inc., he leads the development and implementation of advanced identity verification, electronic Form I-9, E-Verify, and fingerprinting solutions designed to help employers meet strict compliance obligations while reducing exposure to identity fraud. His work centers on leveraging technology, documentation expertise, and process design to ensure accurate identity validation at scale.
