John Knapp is a partner in Miller Nash Graham & Dunn’s Seattle office. John advises businesses and individuals on business bankruptcy and commercial law matters, with an emphasis on Chapter 11 reorganization. His experience includes representing debtors, debtors in possession, Chapter 11 trustees, receivers, creditors’ committees, secured lenders and other lienholders, landlords, suppliers, service providers, and licensors of intellectual property. He served as the judicial law clerk to the late Judge Peter J. Walsh of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware in 1997-1998. John is the co-chair of the International Bankruptcy Subcommittee of the Business Bankruptcy Committee of the ABA’s Section of Business Law. He is proficient in German and Portuguese.
