ABOUT
John Rothchild has been a member of the Wayne State University Law School faculty since 2001, and since 2019 has served as the university’s Chief Privacy Officer. He teaches courses in Constitutional Law, Copyright Law, Trademarks and Unfair Competition, and Privacy Law. From 1991 to 2001, he was an attorney at the Federal Trade Commission’s Bureau of Consumer Protection, specializing in law enforcement efforts addressing Internet-based fraud and online compliance issues. He has been active in the Business Law Section’s Cyber and Technology Law Committee since 2009.
