Kerime S. Akoglu, a member of Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C., is an experienced litigator with a focus on complex commercial litigation, securities litigation, and government investigations. She maintains a nationwide practice and handles high-stakes matters involving allegations of fraud, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, and related wrongdoing. She has represented individuals as well as both large and small companies in trial courts, appellate courts, and arbitration proceedings across the United States. Kerime also maintains an active pro bono practice, with experience in immigration, appellate, and bankruptcy matters. In 2017, Kerime was part of the Mintz Levin team recognized by the Political Asylum/Immigration Representation (PAIR) Project for its Pro Bono Law Firm Award. Kerime was also awarded the firm’s 2017 Richard Mintz Pro Bono Award, given annually to one attorney in recognition of extraordinary pro bono service.
