An associate in our Technology and Privacy & Data Management Groups, Laura’s practice focuses on technology contracting, cybersecurity, privacy compliance, and assisting clients on both technology transactions, data breaches and other commercial matters.
Laura has experience assisting a wide range of technology companies in a broad range of sectors, including SaaS providers, information technology providers and companies with a focus on novel health technology, carbon capture and AI. She also assists clients with drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, such as licensing, reseller, distribution, development and services agreements.
Committed to client service excellence, Laura provides creative and strategic intellectual property advice to companies focused on commercialization, data protection and everyday privacy matters.
To complement her practice, Laura volunteers at a Toronto-based urban innovation hub, where she helps emerging tech and knowledge-based start-ups grow and create global impact.
