Leona Yazdidoust

    ABOUT

    Leona Yazdidoust is a recent graduate from Lewis and Clark Law School, and an active member of the Oregon State Bar. She currently serves as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Jeffrey S. Jones with the Clackamas County Circuit Court. Prior to her current role, she gained valuable experience as a law clerk for a solo practitioner specializing in personal injury and breach of contract claims. Her dedication to public service led her to Portland State University Student Legal Services, where she provided free legal advice and representation to students across various practice areas. She previously clerked at the Oregon Department of Justice Child Advocacy Section, representing the State in child protective proceedings. During her legal education, Leona was actively involved in various leadership roles. She served on the executive board of five student organizations, including the Oregon Arab Iranian Law Student Association, which she co-founded during her third year. Leona earned first place at the First Year Appellate Moot Court Competition, and has been recognized for her commitment to pro bono and community service. She honed her legal research skills as a LexisNexis student representative, and provided advice and support to new students as a peer mentor. Leona has a passion for serving the community and advancing diversity and inclusion in the legal profession. She currently serves on the Oregon Women Lawyers Queen’s Bench Board of Directors, the Oregon Women Lawyers Foundation Board of Directors, and the Oregon Arab Iranian Bar Association Board of Directors.
