Lisa Stark advises boards of directors, board committees, and significant stakeholders on fiduciary and statutory obligations and corporate governance and M&A related matters. She has over 15 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, strategic investments, initial public offerings, proxy contests, and hostile takeovers. Ms. Stark also advises private equity and venture capital funds in connection with their investments in Delaware corporations.
Ms. Stark serves as the Co-Chair of the American Bar Association’s Private Equity and Venture Capital Jurisprudence Subcommittee, is a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation and is a frequent author on corporate and M&A topics for leading publications such as Law360, Bloomberg/BNA, Deal Points, Business Law Today and Harvard Law School’s Forum on Corporate Governance. Ms. Stark also serves as an Editor of the Annual Survey of Judicial Developments Pertaining to Private Equity and Venture Capital, which is published annually in The Business Lawyer and authored a chapter in The Corporate Governance Review, Law Business Research (2012). Ms. Stark also is a frequent panelist for M&A related panels.
