    Matthew Catron is a litigation attorney in Holland & Knight’s Philadelphia office and a member of the firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice. Mr. Catron’s practice focuses on complex business disputes involving corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions, fiduciary duties, shareholder demands, alternative entities and breach of contract. His cases often contain issues of Delaware law or disputes before the Delaware courts.

    Mr. Catron also has experience in matters with substantial issues of insolvency. He represents clients seeking court-appointed receivers and advises on unique issues arising out of bankruptcy.

    Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Mr. Catron was an associate at prominent law firms in Pennsylvania and Delaware. He represented clients in a variety of industries, including financial services, pharmaceuticals, real estate, oil and gas, construction and technology. He also gained valuable experience as a law clerk for the Honorable Rebecca Jennings of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Kentucky.

    While in law school, Mr. Catron served as the lead notes editor for the William & Mary Law Review and graduated with a concentration in business law.
