Matthew Peters is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the firm’s Litigation & Trial Department.
Mr. Peters focuses his practice primarily on complex commercial litigation and investigations, including securities class actions, enforcement actions and internal investigations. He has defended companies, audit firms and individuals, in private securities litigation, shareholder class actions and False Claims Act cases. In addition, Mr. Peters has advised clients in a variety of international trade and national security matters.
During law school, Mr. Peters served on the Editorial Board of the Duke Law Journal.
