ABOUT
McKenzie Sheridan is a Pre-Law student and a recent graduate from the University of Central Florida. She is a prospective law student, hoping to attend law school in 2027. Her undergraduate career was pursued at the University of Central Florida, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies. During her years in undergrad, she took numerous different classes to strengthen skills in legal writing, research, and several different areas of law. In 2024 she completed an internship with the Nassau County Supreme Court, assigned to the Honorable Theresa K. Corrigan. McKenzie was able to observe active trials, litigation proceedings, and conferences. In the following year she had the privilege to work as an intern with the General Counsel’s office for the Police Benevolent Association of New York City. She conducted legal research and continued to strengthen her legal writing skills, as well as gain useful knowledge about collective bargaining and line-of-duty injury cases. McKenzie has handled confidential information, written numerous legal documents (academic and work-related), and has also received many Dean’s List awards and a President’s List award in her undergraduate career.
