Michael S. Butterfield is a partner at Mantese Honigman, P.C. and co-leads the firm’s St. Louis office. He concentrates his practice on complex business litigation, with a focus on shareholder and member disputes, and has tried multiple cases to verdict. He also serves as outside general counsel to a variety of family-owned businesses, providing strategic legal and business advice on governance, ownership, and transactional matters. Michael has been recognized as a Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America since 2023 and as a Kansas and Missouri Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2025. He currently serves on the Michigan Institute of Continuing Education’s Business Law Advisory Board.
