Nadia Moynihan is a Director of August Law Corporation, a Singapore law practice and a Consultant Solicitor at Branch Austin McCormick LLP, an English law practice located in London. Nadia’s practice represents a broad cross-section of the kind of legal services that most businesses and individuals typically need, regardless of industry sector or client profile, with a particular focus on dispute resolution. She regularly advises corporate and private clients on employment compliance and dispute resolution, bankruptcy/insolvency proceedings, commercial disputes and a wide array of other contractual and tortious claims from fraud to defamation. Nadia’s litigation practice draws upon her experience representing clients in complex multi-jurisdictional cases involving misappropriation of funds and shareholder disputes. She has also represented numerous employers and employees in claims relating to wrongful dismissal, breach of employment contracts, non-compete clauses and harassment in the workplace. She is regularly invited to speak at public lectures and private in-house corporate events on topics relating to employment law compliance, commercial contract drafting, and workplace harassment, risk management, dispute avoidance and resolution.
Nadia is a member of the Law Society of Singapore, the Law Society (of England and Wales), the Law Society of Ireland (non-practicing), the Singapore Academy of Law, the Irish-American Bar Association of New York, and the International Association of Young Lawyers (“AIJA”), Society of English and American Lawyers, American Women Lawyers in London and Women in the Law UK. She currently serves as a Vice-Chair of the International Employment Law Committee and the Lawyers Abroad Committee of the American Bar Association.
