ABOUT
Roshelle Nagar is of counsel in the New York office of Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP and a member of the firm’s Banking and Finance Group. Her practice focuses on the representation of financial institutions, private equity sponsors, and corporate borrowers in a variety of domestic and international financing transactions. These transactions include leveraged loan and acquisition financings, cross-border financings, subscription credit facilities and asset-based loans, as well as letter of credit facilities, restructurings, and margin loan facilities. Ms. Nagar received her B.A. degree from the University of Florida and her J.D. degree, cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania. She is active in pro bono matters and sits on the board of directors of Accion East, the largest provider of microfinance in the United States. She is an active member of the ABA Business Law Section and is currently the chair of the Cross-Border Financing Sub-Committee of the Commercial Finance Committee. She was recently inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Commercial Finance Lawyers.
