Sarah Iyer is a Partner in Honigman LLP’s Business Immigration practice group where she focuses her practice on the immigration dimensions of complex corporate transactions, including advising buyers, sellers, and their counsel on the immigration compliance risks and workforce implications of mergers, acquisitions, and related transactions. Sarah also works with U.S. and multinational companies to navigate the full spectrum of U.S. immigration law, from employment-based nonimmigrant and immigrant matters to employment eligibility verification and I-9 compliance to immigration program management and policy development. Sarah is known for her proactive, strategic approach to due diligence and post-closing integration and helps clients identify and mitigate potential immigration-related liabilities before they become obstacles to deal success. Her advice is also practical and commercially minded, with an eye toward calibrating risk so that clients can make informed decisions.
