Steve is head of Osborne Clarke’s US offices in New York and San Francisco.
Leading the US International Expansion and Growth Team, and an English-qualified lawyer resident in the US since 2007, Steve has extensive experience in advising North American companies on all legal aspects of establishing and growing overseas operations.
Steve works closely with Osborne Clarke’s international offices and global network of law firms, supporting US clients for all their international legal needs, including cross-border acquisitions, European investments and multi-jurisdictional projects. This can include anything from employment law or product launches, to global compliance, corporate governance and dispute resolution.
Steve is a time-zone friendly contact and connection point for his US clients, bridging any potential gaps thanks to his specialist knowledge of both international legal considerations, and cultural nuances.
Osborne Clarke is the longest-standing European firm in the US, and having supported hundreds of organizations of multiple shapes and sizes, across numerous sectors, with differing budgets, at various stages of their growth, Steve and his team are able to deliver more than legal expertise. They also provide tried, tested and successful commercial advice and solutions that can be applied to clients’ wider and longer-term business strategies.
Steve is based in Osborne Clarke’s New York office, having managed the firm’s West Coast operations for nine years. He’s a registered Foreign Legal Consultant in both New York and California.
