Suhuyini Abudulai is a partner at Cassels Brock & Blackwell LLP. Her practice focuses on regulatory and transactional matters in financial services and she has particular expertise in Canadian consumer protection laws. Suhuyini provides advice on compliance with a variety of regulatory matters including anti-money laundering and anti-terrorist financing laws, sanctions laws, payments, debt collection, prepaid and loyalty programs and the regulation of financial institutions and fintechs. Among other professional experience, Suhuyini is Chair of the Consumer Law Committee of the Ontario Bar Association, holds leadership positions in the ABA’s Business Law Section, is co-chair of the Small and Medium Bank Forum (Canada) and a member of the Department of Finance Canada’s Advisory Committee on Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing.
