President and Chief Executive Officer, Meritas, Inc.
Tanna Moore has served as president and CEO of Meritas since 2006. Meritas is a premier alliance of 183 independent law firms with more than 7,000 attorneys in 92 countries working collaboratively to provide businesses with qualified expertise across 247 global markets. Meritas has recently released cybersecurity standards for all of its members as part of its recognized quality assurance program. Ms. Moore led the cybersecurity certification of the Meritas corporate offices in 2018.
Ms. Moore holds an undergraduate degree in economics from Kenyon College and an MBA from the Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College. Ms. Moore built her career in business, governance and as an adjunct professor. As a business executive she has been directly responsible for operations, marketing, and business development across a wide spectrum of consumer products, technology, and professional services businesses in both public and privately held corporations including such well-known organizations as General Mills, Control Data/Ceridian, Kroll Ontrack, RTW and a joint venture owned by Cargill, ADM and DuPont.
In addition to board roles in her corporate life, Ms. Moore’s governance responsibilities have included serving as a Governor-appointed Amateur Sports Commissioner responsible for state capital bonding, a Trustee at Kenyon College, and board service for various arts, media and children’s non-profit organizations.
