    ABOUT

    Thad Westbrook is a partner of Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP who practices in South Carolina in the areas of business and complex litigation, consumer finance litigation, class action defense, administrative law, and campaign and election law issues. He is the immediate past Chairman of the Firm’s Recruiting Committee and a former member of the Firm’s Associates Committee.

    Experience
    -Experienced in handling business and complex litigation matters in federal courts, state courts and several arbitration forums
    -Represents financial institutions in litigation, including mortgage lenders and servicers
    -Handles various business and complex litigation disputes involving commercial issues, real property, insurance, and class action.
    -Represents and counsels clients that are the subject of state attorney general investigations, and those who have administrative law matters before state governmental bodies
    -Experienced in providing counsel to governmental and private entities regarding the management and response to data security breaches and identity theft
    -Represents candidates and public officials in matters involving campaign and election law issues
