Allison Handy is the co-chair of Perkins Coie’s Corporate & Securities practice. She is a trusted advisor to companies and boards of directors on critical corporate governance, securities compliance, and capital markets transactions. Allison brings a practical and pragmatic approach to counseling clients, helping them to prepare for tomorrow while addressing the challenges of today.
Allison is a frequent speaker and author on corporate governance and securities law topics. She is the co-founder of the Public Chatter blog, and a co-editor and co-author of The Public Company Handbook: A Corporate Governance and Disclosure Guide for Directors and Executives (Sixth Edition, 2021). She also leads Perkins Coie’s sponsorship of OnBoarding Women, a Seattle-based program dedicated to increasing gender equity in public company boardrooms.
