ABOUT
Christian is a Director, Legal Counsel at SVB Securities, where he oversees the leveraged lending business for SVB. Christian also advises on other syndicated finance and bilateral corporate lending transactions for the commercial banking line of business of Silicon Valley Bank.
Prior to joining SVB Securities in 2022, Christian worked at JPMorgan Chase for over five years, where he was the team lead of the North American Loan Originations and Syndications legal team. Before going in-house, Christian worked at the law firms of Latham & Watkins and Dechert where he represented banks, investment funds, private equity sponsors and corporations on a variety of domestic and cross-border syndicated finance transactions.
Christian is a frequent speaker at American Bar Association (ABA) and Loan Syndications and Trading Association (LSTA) conferences focusing on syndicated lending legal topics and LIBOR/SOFR transition for the loan product. Christian is also a co-Vice Chair of the Syndications and Lender Relations sub-committee of the Commercial Finance Committee of the ABA.
Christian received his J.D., cum laude, from Cornell Law School and a B.A., magna cum laude, from Adelphi University.
