Don De Amicis is a Professor at Georgetown University Law Center and faculty co-director of the Center on Transnational Business and the Law. He serves as an expert-advisor to the Commercial Law Development Program of the U.S. Commerce Department, and is on the faculty at the International Law Institute. Don was a partner at a large international firm for over 20 years, before becoming General Counsel of the Development Finance Corporation, the U.S. government’s bilateral development finance institution. He has long been active in the American Bar Association and its rule of law initiatives, and served as chair of the International Law Section.
