Gaurav is a Partner in the Corporate and M&A practice at Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan (LKS) and focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions and private equity/VC.
Gaurav has extensive experience in advising multiple private equity and venture capital funds, strategic corporate clients, multilateral agencies, and public and private companies, on a wide variety of their complex cross-border and domestic M&A and private equity transactions, including acquisitions, joint ventures, technical collaborations, dispositions, strategic and private equity investments.
An alumnus of the prestigious National Law School of India University (Bengaluru), Gaurav’s has represented clients, across a range of sectors in India, and advised them on full range of their operations and activities, including entry strategy, establishment of presence, growing new businesses and exits.
Gaurav regularly advises various MNCs, investors and domestic companies on India’s investment regime, foreign exchange regulations, securities regulations, sectoral regulations, general corporate and commercial matters, technology and data-protection issues to assist them in achieving their commercial objectives.
Gaurav is a frequent speaker on matters / topics relating to M&A and private equity in India and a regular contributor to various international publications.
Prior to joining LKS, Gaurav was a part of the M&A and Private Equity practice at one of the largest law firms in India.
