Matthew Doré is the Richard & Anita Calkins Distinguished Professor Emeritus at Drake University Law School. Professor Doré taught a variety of corporate and commercial law classes at Drake from 1992 to 2022, when he retired from full-time teaching. Professor Doré is also a past chair of the Iowa State Bar Association’s Business Law Section.
Professor Doré has published extensively in the corporate and commercial law area, including law review articles, book chapters, and a 2-volume treatise for Thomson Reuters on Iowa Business Organization law. Professor Doré has prepared updated editions of the Iowa treatise annually since 2003 and is a frequent presenter on business law topics.
