ABOUT
Pinar Akman is a Professor of Law specializing in competition law at the University of Leeds, where she is also a Director at the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence on Digital Governance. She received a Philip Leverhulme Prize (Leverhulme Trust) for her research on competition law in the digital economy. She is the author of the sell-out book The Concept of Abuse in EU Competition Law: Law and Economics Approaches, and numerous peer-reviewed articles. She has presented her research in more than twenty countries and advised and/or provided her expertise to numerous organizations, including the IMF and World Economic Forum.
