Scott Kessler litigates complex commercial and intellectual property disputes at both the trial and appellate levels, with particular experience in arbitration and alternative dispute resolution. He has tried and argued numerous cases in federal and state courts, including matters involving the enforceability, scope, and waiver of arbitration agreements on behalf of private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies, financial services firms, and technology and real estate companies. His experience encompasses corporate and private equity transactions, trademarks, copyrights, real estate, securities, and class action defense.
Scott also counsels clients on contract disputes, corporate dissolutions, and the drafting and enforcement of arbitration provisions across portfolio company transactions, platform terms of service, and complex financial instruments.
