Sheryl L. Axelrod is the President & CEO of The Axelrod Firm and serves as an Arbitrator, Mediator, Special Master, and Receiver in Commercial Disputes, and is available to be retained outside of such roles—not as a neutral but as a client advocate—to advise and represent parties seeking to resolve Commercial Disputes. She brings over 30 years of litigation experience, including at an Am Law 100 law firm, including conducting jury and non-jury trials, handling Commercial Litigation in state and federal courts and before administrative bodies. She has particular experience in Fee Disputes, Real Estate, Construction, e-Discovery, Franchises, and Aerospace and Aviation.
Ms. Axelrod is recognized as one of the Top 100 Super Lawyers in Pennsylvania. While litigating cases, she was a Senior Fellow in Litigation Counsel of America, a by-invitation-only organization of top trial lawyers that accepts less than one-half of one percent of the country’s lawyers.
She serves on the AAA’s Large, Complex Case Commercial Disputes Panel, and as a Judge Pro Tempore / Settlement Master on Philadelphia’s Commerce Court. Ms. Axelrod serves on Board of Directors of the National Association of Minority & Women Owned Law Firms (NAMWOLF), and as Co-Chair of NAMWOLF’s ADR Subcommittee.
She is conversationally fluent in Spanish.
She is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She handles ADR across the Greater East Coast, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
