Lakshmi Gopal is the Founder and Sole Practitioner at Muciri Law PLLC, where she helps a small collection of clients from all over the world tackle new challenges resulting from the evolving uses of data and technology. Since starting her practice in 2020, she has advised clients on business formation, intellectual property, labor and employment, privacy, cyberspace, consumer rights, and constitutional law matters. Passionate about individual freedom and the rule of law, Lakshmi is proud to be a part of a small but growing group of young lawyers taking advantage of technology to experiment with new ways of offering legal services that are flexible, creative, accessible, and more affordable.
Lakshmi is admitted to practice in New York and Washington DC. She received her MA and BA (magna cum laude) from Columbia University. Lakshmi received her JD from Michigan Law in 2018, where she was awarded the S. Anthony Benton Memorial Award for scholastic excellence in the fields of constitutional and international law. An active member of the American Bar Association, she is a Contributing Editor with Business Law Today for the Business Law Section Council’s Rule of Law Working Group.
