ABOUT
Sampada “Sam” Kapoor is a mid-level associate at Forman Watkins & Krutz LLP, where her practice focuses on mass tort litigation and complex commercial litigation, with an emphasis in products and premises defense. Sam is a first generation Indian-American Missisisippi native raised in Tokyo, Japan, and uses her international background to further her practice as an attorney. She attended the University of Mississippi where she received her BA in International Studies from the Croft Institute in 2014 and her JD with distinction from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 2017.
In addition to practicing law in Jackson, Sam concurrently worked as an adjunct law professor at the University of Mississippi School of Law from 2018 to 2020. She has been selected as one of Mississippi Business Journal’s 2019 Leaders in Law and continuously recognized as a Mid-South Rising Star recipient from 2020 to 2022. In recognition of her legal education volunteerism, she was most recently named by the Mississippi Bar Foundation as the winner of the 2022 Law-Related Public Education Award.
